Merit Health Madison Holds Ribbon Cutting for Medical Office Building

JACKSON, Miss., May 15, 2017 – Merit Health Madison recently held a ribbon cutting for its new on-campus medical office building.

The 35,000 square foot facility will be home to primary care, neurology, orthopedics, OBGYN and other specialties, including outpatient physical therapy.

“Since Merit Health Madison opened, it has been our vision to build a medical office building on campus for improved ease of access both within and outside the local community,” CEO Brit Phelps said. “I’d like to thank our employees, medical staff, board members and business partners for their support in making this happen.”

In 2016, Merit Health Madison had 25,000 ER Visits and consistently met the 30 minute time pledge of door to provider. In addition, the hospital has been named Hospital of the Year from the MS Nurses Association, Business of the Year by the Canton Chamber of Commerce, and been awarded the Vision Award by the Madison County Business League & Foundation / Madison County Economic Development Authority.
